Foxfire Lanes
Fall League 2008/09 Details

Monday 6:30 pm- Sundown Men: A competitive mens' league that has shown great growth in recent years. Established over twenty years ago, and still going strong.
6:30 pm- Monday Night Ladies: These ladies have a great time, and would love for you to join them. The Monday ladies have bowlers of all skill levels, and welcome new bowlers into their social league.
Tuesday 9:30 am- Foxfire Seniors: Yes, you have to be at least 50 years old to bowl with these bowlers, but don't worry; if you're not mature enough, age a few more years, and then you can join the fun.
6:30 pm Tuesday Ladies Scratch: Although this is a competition league, keep in mind that it takes diverse skill levels to fit within the cap. Don't be afraid; wanting to knock down pins doesn't make it any less social, or fun.
6:30 pm- Stanley and Friends: This league started out as a Stanley Tool employee league, then they opened it up to friends, then to the learn to bowl graduates, later to the Wal-Mart associates. Turns out they just want to have fun, and make friends. Come join the fun!
Wednesday 6:30 pm-Weaver McGuire Men: A solid, and well established men's competition league. The Weaver-McGuire men are sponsored by Foxfire's video game vendor. Note: This league generally fills up, and may not have spaces available.
6:30 pm- The Race & Roll league: Formerly the NASCAR Rollers: Although the name has changed, it is still the same great league with licensed NASCAR Driver Jackets. Note: This league normally does not lose too many bowlers, and fills up, so open spots are limited.
Thursday 6:30 pm- Thursday Night Mixed: A traditional two man, two woman league with a good mix of bowlers. This league has been bowling for over twenty years, and is still a solid league.
9:00 pm- $80,000 Extravaganza League: The Extravaganza is back, and better than ever. For several years, we ran the Extravaganza League, and eventually went on to other formats, but some things are too good to forget. Last year, the Extravaganza program paid out over $80,000, and expects to pay out at least that much this year. Two teams from Foxfire made it to the regional finals last year, and we expect to send at least as many this year. Get your chance at the big bucks.
Friday 6:30 pm- The Cool Stuff Youth/Adult- This is a new league that offers the chance for family members of different ages to bowl on the same team. There are no cash prizes, so no problem for amature status of the youth. Every one on the league gets their choice of licensed merchandise, or Foxfire gift card. First place trophies are also included. Each team must have a minimum of one youth bowler.
Saturday 9:30 am- Foxfire Youth: Our youth are coached by certified coaches, and compete in age brackets. The season ends just before Christmas, and starts anew after the New Year's holiday.
Sunday 6:00 pm- Foxfire Mixed: Established in 1986, the Foxfire Mixed is one of our largest, and most popular leagues. A diverse group of bowlers populate this league, and welcome your participation socially, and on the lanes.
8:30 pm-  Captain & Crew: The Captain recruits three new league bowlers for his team, then he doesn't pay for his bowling linage all season. New bowlers; are people that did not bowl on a Foxfire League for the 2007/08 Fall, or 2008 Summer. The captain can be new, or an established league bowler.
